Thank you to the venerable NME for correcting the typo caused from a transcription. Here is the quote:
“I don’t know. We’ve got to start talking about this. That’s a good idea. There could be. There’s a point where it’s like, ‘Is this Nirvana or AI?’ There’s a lot of that stuff already on Youtube, and that’s a debate that’s going to have to be settled when it comes to copyright and disinformation. It’s like 2001: A Space Odyssey – ‘Don’t do it!’

I am into technology. Darbury got the Amazon box and the first thing I asked it was, "Alexa, why did HAL kill the spaceship crew in 2001 a Space Odyssey?" There was no reply, only silence. Folks, don't worry, there is like .000001 chance Nirvana will be done in AI as long as the current members, and the Estate of Kurt Cobain are living. Of course, who knows what will be done in the future? One day, all music of the Rock Era will be in the public domian. But for people who need to expand their thinking, and lord knows I need to myself, below is a quote from the NME article:
“I don’t know. We’ve got the start talking about this. That’s a good idea. There could be. There’s a point where it’s like, ‘Is this Nirvana on AI?’ There’s a lot of that stuff already on Youtube, and that’s a debate that’s going to have to be settled when it comes to copyright and disinformation. It’s like 2001: A Space Odyssey – ‘Don’t do it!’ ” [My emphasis]
Indeed, "don't do it." Artificial Intelligence can be a good tool if used properly. We turned two-track board mixes into multi-tracks with the technology. They were good performances and that is all that matters. The AI just helped us make them sound better by separating the tracks. The multi-tracks were mixed by a human named Jack Endino.
In other news....I was back on Twitter and fell into the same old bad habits. It made me uneasy to see the reality of brainwashing. Some good stuff on there too that I will just have to miss. But, I was back into just scrolling the timeline. Skinner box. It was as if I were watching the same social psychology experiment, over and over again. So I deleted my account. Nice to be back in my own world. I love my life and don't need social media stimulation to be happy.
I READ BOOKS! Am currently into Arthur C. Clark Glidepath. This is not science fiction, rather a story on aviation technology during WWII. Before that read Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls. Preceded by more classic literature, F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
Off to read some pulp!
